Come Sail with us and enjoy the beauty of Lake Norman. With 520 miles of shoreline and a surface area of more than 50 square miles, Lake Norman is sometimes referred to as the “inland sea” of North Carolina. Lake Norman was created between 1959 and 1964 as part of the construction of the Cowans Ford Dam by Duke Energy, and it is the largest man made body of fresh water located in North Carolina.
Spend an afternoon on Lake Norman – feel the wind in your face, the power of the sails filling with wind and the grace of our sailboat moving through the water. Enjoy the sailing experience and have fun with the wind and the water while feeling empowered by the experience. Come join us and Sail Away!
